Summer 2017: This term, Red Kites are learning all about themselves in our topic 'Wonderful Me!' We will exploring our local area, learning about how our bodies work, and finding out how life in Glapthorn has changed over the past two hundred years! Find out more here.

During July last year, Red Kites vistied the church bells at Cotterstock which had been taken down for refurbishment; the bells have now been returned to Cotterstock Church, retuned and ready to be put back up in the tower. The church has also been donated a new church bell in memory of a lady called Rita, who had done a great deal for the village and community. The children have been back to Cotterstock Church to look at the refurbished bells and to watch a video of the new bell being made at the bell foundry.
