We welcome children from a wide geographical area to our school and believe our website gives a taster of what our school is like. If you would like to find out more, please contact us to arrange a visit. We are always happy to show prospective parents around our school.
School admissions are dealt with by Northamptonshire County Council but we are happy to help in any way we can. It is always best to contact and, if possible, visit the school prior to your application. The County Council will contact us to approve the admission and it is useful for the school to have an understanding of future numbers.
To apply for a place at our school online, follow this link: Northamptonshire County Council admissions. This covers both 'in year' admissions, if your child is already at school somewhere else, and pre-school entry for entry into Reception in September. To contact the Admissions Team by phone, call 0300 126 1000.
Places will be allocated to pupils who have a statement of SEN or EHC plan that names the school as appropriate provision. When there are more applications for places than there are places available, priority will be given in the following order:
i. Children in public care or previously in public care but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, residence/child arrangement order or special guardianship order
ii. Pupils who live in the linked area, i.e. Glapthorn and Southwick.
iii. Pupils with an older brother or sister continuing at the school at the time of admission of the younger child.
iv. Other pupils.
If the admission number is exceeded within criterion (ii) priority will be given to those who live furthest from the nearest alternative school.
If the admission number is exceeded within any other criterion, priority will be given to those who live closest to the school.
